Thanksgiving is the “harvest festival” of the North Americans and is always celebrated on the 4th Thursday in November. In the USA and Canada, it is the most important family celebration before Christmas, when the whole family comes together for a big feast. San Francisco-based artist Hannah Rothstein has come up with something very special.

With the publication “The most beautiful buildings 1975-2000”, the Swiss Heritage Society presents selected buildings from all over Switzerland: Churches, bridges, parks, museums and housing estates. Celebrated icons, but also previously little-known buildings. They are all representative of the diversity of building culture in the last quarter of the 20th century.

Spanning more than four millennia of horticultural heritage, a forthcoming tome from Phaidon celebrates the diverse mediums, trends, and traditions of gardens around the globe. Brimming with more than 300 full-color illustrations, Garden: Exploring the Horticultural World encompasses how geography, time periods, and purpose influence myriad landscape designs and gardening culture, along with numerous other art forms.
