The Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein launches with its current exhibition “Home Stories. 100 Years, 20 Visionary Interiors”, a new debate about the private interior, its history and its future prospects; about our home as an expression of our lifestyle.

Munich’s Pinakothek der Moderne is dedicating an exhibition worth seeing to the artist of light Ingo Maurer, with more than 80 objects, models and photographs ranging from early designs to current lighting fixtures.

Apart from Art Basel and the fairs of Frieze, there are emerging or regionally anchored art fairs around the world where artists can be discovered who have not yet made it onto the big platforms.
