Jan Hamer is the founder of the online platform Holiday Architecture. He started it 16 years ago in Denmark. When the architect helped a friend there to build a modern-style holiday home, he noticed that such properties were difficult to find on the internet. Owners of modern holiday homes, in turn, usually had problems reaching architecture-savvy travellers. In the meantime, the platform Holiday Architecture has developed into a portal with 560 holiday homes from Norway to the Canary Islands.

The online magazine dezeen recently reported that the Architecture studio Morphogenesis has unveiled the Surat Diamond Bourse in India, which has surpassed the Pentagon to become the world’s largest office building.

For the time being, Raiffeisen Switzerland does not see any falling prices in the market for owner-occupied housing, but expects price corrections in 2024. These are only postponed, by no means cancelled, the bank writes in its media release. According to Raiffeisen, a majority of Swiss tenants are threatened with another rent increase on 1 April 2024 and a third increase by the end of 2024 is already foreseeable.
