On 5 December 2023, Hochparterre magazine once again selected the best projects in the disciplines of architecture, design and landscape architecture at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich and awarded the “Rabbit”, the Senn Prize for Young Architecture. The best 2023 briefly summarised: Forward-looking conversion, colourful educational world, high-quality courtyard design and the rabbit: Thoughtfully built economically.
As every year, it’s all about the traditional “Die Besten” – the so-called “Hares” – in the categories of architecture, design and landscape architecture. The Hochparterre editorial team put together a five-member jury for each category together with an editor from Hochparterre. Each jury member nominated a maximum of five works. In August, there was also a public call for entries: up to 50 works per category were submitted. Hochparterre included a maximum of five of these in its quota of five nominations per category.
All works were created between September 2022 and September 2023 and are located in Switzerland or – in the Design category – were created with Swiss participation. The juries selected the “Die Besten” in each category and awarded the gold, silver and bronze hare trophies at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich. As usual, the museum will present the winners to the public until 7 January 2024.

The winning projects can be seen at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich from 6 December 2023 to 7 January 2024: Tue-Sun 10am-5pm, Thu 10am-8pm, closed on Mondays and 24/25 December and 1 January.
